Knitting Classes

Meet our Instructor: Heather Bonifas

Heather lives with her husband and their three girls in Landeck as a full-time farming family. Her fiber passion began over 15 years ago with knitting, spinning, felting, and natural dying.

She loves sharing her passion for fiber arts to the young and the young at heart.



Are you ready to learn how to knit? 

If so, then this is the class to start with!

Heather Bonifas, our knitting instructor, will cover everything you need to know in order to start knitting. You will learn the basic knitting techniques such as how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and bind off to begin creating simple projects.

Please note that knitting needles size 6, 7 or 8 along with 100% cotton yarn are required for this class.

Cost is $8 per class with online registration or $10 day of class.

Learn how to knit socks...two at a time!

In this advanced knitting class, you will learn how to knit two socks from the toe up, at the same time on one circular needle so you'll have a pair finished at the same time. 

A knowledge of basic knitting techniques and experience is recommended.

Please note 2 skeins of any color SOCK yarn, a stitch marker, large eyed darning needle and size #2, 40" circular needles are required materials to bring to each class.

Cost is $10.00 per class with online registration; $12.00 day of class.
